Requirements for Accrediting Hospitals As Training Sites

The rotation site where residency is conducted should have the following:

• Policy and procedure that regulate and control work procedure and personal
• Staff that are committed and obligated to seek optimal patient care
• Commitment to apply the pharmaceutical care principles in day to day operations
• A fully functional IV room which is managed and guided by a specific policy and procedure
• Minimum of 3 core and 3 elective, active clinical rotations
• Fully operational and effective medication distribution and delivery system
• Have minimum of 5 preceptors

Joint Training Site

Any site, which does not meet the above mentioned criteria, might apply for a joint rotation site residency program in conjunction with other rotation sites.
